When Pret A Manger wanted to put their freshly baked treats in the spotlight, they asked us to create six tempting promos for social media.
From the buttery Chocolate and Almond Croissant to the gooey Salted Caramel Brownie, we captured every flaky layer, melting bite, and golden glaze. Each video was designed to stop the scroll, spark cravings, and showcase the variety of Pret’s bakery range — sweet or savoury, there’s something for everyone.
The result was a set of mouth-watering social videos that had viewers pairing their Pret coffee with a little something fresh from the oven.
Serving Up Pret’s Freshly Baked Story
When Pret A Manger wanted to put their daily fresh bakes centre stage, they came to us for something irresistible — content that could practically make you smell the pastries through the screen. The goal was clear: highlight the craft, quality, and sheer temptation of Pret’s bakery range in a way that would have audiences rushing to their nearest store.
We rolled up our sleeves, dusted off the flour (figuratively speaking), and set about creating six bakery promos that were as much a visual treat as the products themselves.
Six Temptations, One Goal
Each promo focused on a hero bake — the kind of treat that can brighten a Monday morning or perfectly round off a coffee break. The line-up included:
- Chocolate and Almond Croissant– buttery, flaky layers revealing rich chocolate and almond filling.
- Salted Caramel Brownie– decadent, gooey, and impossible to resist.
- Choc Chip Cookie– the classic crowd-pleaser, crisp at the edges with a soft, melty centre.
- Pastel de Nata– creamy custard in delicate pastry, a little taste of Portugal.
- Bakewell Slice– sweet jam, almond frangipane, and icing perfection.
- Cheese Twist– a savoury, golden swirl of cheese-filled goodness.
Our challenge? Make each one stand out while still feeling unmistakably part of the same campaign.
A Feast for the Eyes
To make that happen, we went all in on freshness. We hired an oven, brought it right into the studio, and baked every item on the spot so we could film each treat at its absolute best. From the rise of the pastry in the oven to the final golden crust, we captured the whole baking process in real time. The result was mouth-watering authenticity you just can’t fake. We worked closely with Pret to capture every detail, using tight close-ups and rich, warm lighting to highlight texture, colour, and freshness.
We treated each bake like a star on set, making sure every shot told a story. Sometimes that meant a slow, lingering pan over a croissant’s golden folds. Other times, it was a quick, playful break revealing the soft centre of a cookie. It wasn’t just about showing what the products look like — it was about making you feel the satisfaction of eating them.
